We use picture cartons for pictures, canvases, mirrors and glass table tops, and TV boxes with styrene insert blocks, each channelled to hold a flat screen in place. Crockery from the staff kitchen goes in the deliberately small crystal box so the packed weight stays easy to carry. Computers and office equipment
Screens travel in channelled TV boxes, smaller items are wrapped in packing paper and bubble wrap, and full insurance cover includes loss or damage during packing, loading and unloading. Disconnecting and reconnecting computers, servers, phones and the network is a job to book with your IT provider: have them unplug before the crew arrives and reconnect at the new office, and list every piece of equipment for us at the survey so it is packed and quoted correctly.
We do not carry hazardous materials: gas bottles, flammable liquids, batteries, jerry cans or anything holding fuel. If you are unsure whether something counts, ask at the survey.

Insurance for your office move
The NSW Government’s advice on choosing a removalist points out that removalists are not required by law to provide insurance for your property during a move, and that most removalist companies only have insurance that covers their vehicle if an accident occurs. - Restricted cover: fire, explosion, lightning, flood, collision and vehicle overturning.
- Full cover: adds loss or damage during packing, loading and unloading, plus accidental damage.
- Storage cover: separate cover while goods are at our facility.
Cover can be taken on a market value basis, which accounts for age, condition and wear, or a replacement basis up to the value declared on the insurance declaration form. Additional insurance is not compulsory, and if you insure only some items, you complete a declaration listing what is covered.
